Illinois Spring Turkey Season 2026.
This field footage is from Jake Etcheson of @pb_quest_outdoors, captured during a spring turkey hunt in Illinois while running the TIDEWE StrutBack Turkey Vest for gear organization and mobility in the field.
What started as a promising morning quickly shifted as multiple longbeards and a large flock unexpectedly moved into the area. The setup changed in seconds, decoys were adjusted, decisions were made in real time, and the hunt unfolded fast.
Despite strong opportunities and close encounters, the moment did not come together as planned.
That is turkey hunting, unpredictable, fast paced, and never guaranteed.
This is a real field experience shared through TIDEWE, showcasing authentic moments from the turkey woods.
