Pros: – Budget friendly – High build quality – Accurate – 11 brightness settings – Tacticool mounts for different mounting positions Cons: – Night time settings have too aggressive of a curve.
N1 and N2 not usable without NVG. 3rd setting is very hard to see making it nearly impractical without a magnifier. The 4th setting and the only usable one in my opinion at night is too bright and ends up smudging the dot.
– Needs a revision with an on/off switch rather than going through the settings. If you have this on your duty gun you pretty much have to keep it on at all times draining the battery.
By the time you pick it up and get it on the right setting its too late. – Made in China. Really wish you guys made your stuff in the USA or at least somewhere that isnt China.
Id even pay more for it.
Ive been buying Vortex products since they started making them on a small work bench. Their warranty is second to none! Dont be fooled, they started the entire VIP warranty and other companies imitate.
As for the unit its crisp and clear. Its lightweight and the turn dial is very user friendly with great feedback. The battery life is 50,000 hours so just leave it on.
Fit and finish it very well done. There is no optic out of my reach, I choose vortex first.
-Works great -Easy Install and zeroing -I turn the brightness/on/off knob half way between setting to turn it off so I don’t have to turn it all the way back and forth, it’s worked great so far. -I would recommend this for the price and ease of use. –
